Turn any AMT 51 Chevrolet ...

...Into a 52!!

This 3 piece resin conversion kit allows you to convert any of the AMT 1951 Chevrolet kits into a 1952, or by using the bumpers only, dress up a stock 51.

The kit includes the 52 grill and west coast dress-up bumper guard set. You can have them plated or use BMF or Alclad to add the chrome finish. We recommend the Alclad method because it produces a finish closer to what was actually produced during the Korean war. Our kits need a minimal cleaning since no mold release agent is used in the casting process, and they are crisp and clean.

Each kit includes a builders detail sheet with full color pictures showing interiors, exteriors and data charts plus a full color chart showing solid and two-tone colors printed on Kodak 44# Gloss presentation stock. Just in case you want to order paint to match one of the colors on the chart, we also include an order form from MCW. Scroll down to see what else comes with these kits.

As a "Freebie" each kit also includes enough of our new window glazing material to do several models... That's it shown below on one of our 1957 Chevrolet Sport Sedans. This one was built and detailed by Bob's Curbside 66. More photos and details are available at The Resin Realm.

...and some of our new "Chrome Trim" mylar stock for making interior and exterior trim pieces. It's real chrome plate, only a few thousandths thick, and is great for mirrors, dash, headliner and door trim, p/u bed strips and lining...you'll probably find a gazillion other uses for it. Unlike BMF it's chrome on both sides and has no adhesive coating. It's also not as flexible as BMF, but then again, it's not as fragile either. The last two pix tell the story.
